Jim Hall Habitat

After Jim Hall passed away in December, 1991, a group of his friends determined that a tract of land should be purchased and dedicated in his memory. This project was started in the summer of 1992.

The habitat is 37 acres of water and 46 acres of upland and timber. The area is a wildlife refuge and is closed to hunting and all gas-powered watercraft vehicles. Click HERE for a map and directions.

The Jim Hall Habitat Area has been the site of several Eagle Scout projects including two bridges and a hiking trail.
