About Our Parks and Personnel
The Emmet County Conservation Board manages nine habitat and recreation areas. These include:

The Emmet County Conservation Board consists of five board members. Board members are appointed by the Emmet County Board of Supervisors. Presently the Emmet County Conservation Board consists of David Enerson, Kim Swanson, Curt Larson, Phyllis McKean and Greg Matheson. Eric Anderson is the Director of the ECCB and Anita Fisher is the Naturalist.
Our other employees consist of Tex Adams (Wolden Recreation Area), Steve Schroeder (Wolden Recreation Area), Harvey Schroeder (Tuttle Recreation Area), and Jim Bishop (Tuttle Recreation Area). All camping areas are open from the 2nd Monday in April to the 2nd Friday in October, weather permitting.
